Richard is the VP Business Lead for the Fireblocks Network at Fireblocks, an industry-leading platform for the custody, transfer, and settlement of digital assets. With over 16 years of financial sector experience, Richard has specialized in digital asset trading, custody, and tokenization since 2017. His role focuses on expanding Fireblocks’ global Network, ensuring secure, seamless connectivity for its institutional clients to liquidity providers, custodians, and trading venues, with a particular emphasis on risk management tools such as Off Exchange Settlement.

Before joining Fireblocks, Richard was instrumental in building and scaling Covario’s trade desk from the ground up, achieving trading volumes exceeding $100 million per month. His efforts contributed to the firm’s high revenue generation and successful regulatory approval. Richard’s expertise in digital assets is also rooted in his work with Swiss Crypto Vault, where he played a key role in launching the company and growing its market share to over $1 billion in assets under management within 18 months.
